In November 2022, I finished my PhD at the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute and the Bernoulli Institute for Mathematics, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. I am now working as a functional design engineer at ASML.
My PhD project was set at the interdisciplinary DSSC - the Data Science and Systems Complexity centre - and I investigated the large-scale structure in the Universe (the cosmic web) using topological data analysis. I have published one paper during my PhD, with three more in preparation (and two earlier ones from research related my Master’s thesis). I also presented my work at a few events (in the last two years mostly online unfortunately, but this means some of my talks were recorded and you can check them out), and I was a TA for Astrophysical Hydrodynamics.
